Tom`s Deli in St. George

Really fresh ingredient sandwiches, a little pricey but very worth it! I got the Samwhich and it’s a pretty tasty club. You get to add the amount of sides that you’d prefer that are free of charge. Definitely a lunch spot that’s a great pick for St. George natives and visitors.

I was introduced to Tom's by my friend who started eating at Tom's when he was in College. Now, every time he visits St. George, Tom's is the first stop and I have been fortunate enough to eat there several times with him and his wife. I just read his obituary and saw that Tom's Deli is listed as one of his life's pleasures! What an endorsement!!!

I’ve been eating at Tom’s deli at least once sometimes twice a week for as long as I can remember. if you want a classic Sandwich this is the place to go. St George food culture at its finest. Don’t forget potato salad. Also, how do they have both Coke and Pepsi? Magic hahaha

Best little mom and pop shop ever!!! I love their fresh potato salad and they have the yummiest jalapeños ever!!!! I get the roast beef & turkey on sourdough hot with lettuce and tomato, my hubby gets the “Toni”.....The meat is fresh shaved yumminess!! If you are a soda drinker you will love their soda pop too, the mixture is just perfect 🥤 👏🏻😊

This place is a hidden gem known mostly by St George locals. The sandwiches are excellent! They have all kinds of hot and cold sandwich options and a side bar where you decide exactly which condiments go on. We love it here so much that we make a point to stop by for lunch every time we drive through St George. Would highly recommend.

Friendly staff. Spotless dining area. Good quality product. Wheat bread rolls were fresh but not very 'wheatie' at all. Much more like white bread. I will be back.

How have I lived here all these years and never eaten here? This place is simple. Simple menu, simple food, even a simple location and tables. Why? So they can make sure their simple food is amazing. Fresh ingredients, potent horseradish for those feeling adventurous, and amazing sourdough. Served fresh made and fast. Great lunch stop. Great service.

I got the “Z” on sourdough bread. It was super tasty, especially after a visit to the toppings bar. My sandwich was turkey and salami. I topped it with mayo, pickle relish and Italian dressing. Sooooo good! And...don’t leave without the potato salad! It’s the best I’ve ever had, besides my grandmas of course!

Maybe it's because I'm an out-of-towner or maybe it's because my standards are pretty high, but I expect that, when an establishment makes a sandwich, the condiments are placed on it and the customer not be directed to a flimsy condiment cart to take packets of dressings. I could have made these sanwiches myself. And, to the staff: thanks for making me feel like my first time should be the last. Such helpful and friendly staff, said no one.

I went to Tom's Deli because of the incredible reviews. I enjoyed the sandwich that I had but it was not amazing and five stars. I had the pastrami with ham and sauerkraut. I ordered the large so that I could get more meat. The portion sizes are not very generous. You can pay for extra meat but it starts getting expensive at that point.I will definitely go back but next time I will try the straight pastrami sandwich. The line was out the door when we arrived and was still that way when we left. The center that it's in has no signage and so it is amazing that they do the kind of business that they do. That alone probably speaks to the quality.The service was cordial. The restaurant Decor is simple and relatively clean.

This is the type of place you can tell locals have been going to since before st George had lots of choices. Reminiscent of the late 80s, it has a hometowney feel. We had the hot sandwiches smothered in horses radish and huge Mountain Dew. I can't believe i haven't eaten here in the 15 years I've lived here!

An absolute staple for St George. Fantastic deli sandwiches that have stood the test of time. I've been going there for 20 years now, and I hope they're around for another 20 just so I can get their Pastrami on sourdough 😍

Hot or Cold, bottled or fountain drinks. Potato salad. Food: Great. As a reference I had the “J”, Pastrami/Roast beef, they served it without condiments that you can add to taste, also you have a choice of bread witch makes it more personal. Price: $$ / 5 Overall: I will comeback and highly recommend it. Quality over Price, it’s more of a ⭐⭐⭐⭐.6 / 💰💰. To those that know about sandwiches / Subs, this is a perfect place. Eating Habits (vegetarian, vegan) are not all met, but I will never compromise their choice over their quality, that is Superb.

Great place for a quick and filling lunch. Service is always friendly and fast. The menu is huge.... you're sure to find the sandwich that you're craving for lunch. The fixings for the sandwiches are as fresh as it gets. The bread is soft, fresh and chewy. And, if that's not enough to entice you, you'll also find several varieties of sauces that you can dress your sandwich up with.

A lot of choices of deli meat style sandwiches. They'll make it however you would like. It was our first time and it appeared to be all quality ingredients. It was recommended to us from a local and now we get the opportunity to recommend it to anyone that reads this post. Reasonable price for reasonable portion with great taste

One of the best sandwich places in town. Locally owned and the bread, meats and cheeses are always fresh. Food and service are head and shoulders above franchise sandwich places.

Love this place and have been going here for 30+ years. Lots of great choices whether want hot or cold. My favorite is either the hot pastrami or the hot pastrami and ham. Probably the best pastrami in all of southern Utah.

This place looked pretty good but I was actually surprised that they did not have any vegetarian options. It really is just deli meat with mayo, tomatoes and lettuce. If you’re into a simple sandwhich like this, great! But in terms of vegetarian or allergies (gluten dairy soy etc) this is not the place for you
